Nom: Homebaked Dough at Tanjong Pagar Plaza

For some months now, my colleagues have been raving about the chocolate chip cookies sold by the two young men at Tanjong Pagar. We swung by Homebaked Dough after lunch to pick up some cookies, and were lucky enough to make off with the last three packets.

From their half-stall in Tanjong Pagar Plaza, the brothers also sell ramen. It's an eclectic product mix, to say the least.

The cookies come in 200g packs, for around $6 (chocolate chip only) or $7.20 (chocolate chip and macadamia nuts). My colleague bought me a pack of the macadamia ones, and I’m now onto my third cookie in as many minutes. These are ADDICTIVE.

Eat your heart out, Famous Amos.

You can tell that these guys take real pride in their work. Even their cookie packages are adorably chic.

Not pictured: equally snazzy customised paper bag.

One of these days, I’m going back to try the ramen.

that’s like Don’s Pie selling pie and crab bee hoon. 2 things that don’t go together.
i once asked my dad if he opened a food stall, what would he sell. he said chicken macaroni soup and chicken curry. i guess chicken is the common thing?

Common ingredient = economies of scale, so makes sense. Can’t quite say the same for ramen and cookies, or pie and crab bee hoon for that matter!
